Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs and one of her former friends from childhood are reportedly at odds amid filming on the upcoming 13th season.
According to a new report, Josephs' ex-BFF, Laura Marasca Jensen, allegedly teamed up with Josephs' nemesis of season 12, Jennifer Aydin, in an effort to bring Josephs down on the new episodes -- even though she didn't actually take part in filming.
Following a series of online reports claiming Laura Marasca Jensen had actually filmed for The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13, All About the Real Housewives is setting the record straight, confirming that Margaret Josephs' former friend was never in production with the other women.
"Laura hasn't filmed anything for season 13, and she wasn't on the cast trip," an insider told the outlet on August 2, giving a nod to the women's recent visit to Ireland, the former home of Dolores Catania's boyfriend, Paul Connell. “She has been brought up during filming, but Marge has shut it down every time she is brought up.”
Although Marasca Jensen isn't believed to have filmed, the outlet said she's been accused of teaming up with Jennifer Aydin, whose husband, Bill Aydin, Josephs exposed for having an affair amid The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12.
"She's talking," a second source added to All About the Real Housewives of Marasca Jensen. "[And] what she's saying is making air."
So while Marasca may not be featured in season 13, her claims against Josephs will allegedly be a hot topic amongst the cast.
As Real Housewives of New Jersey fans may have seen, Josephs was at the center of a series of posts shared by Deux Moi days ago on Instagram.
In a group text message shared by the outlet, Josephs shaded Marasca Jensen as a "beast" and a "snake" for her alleged efforts to get cast on the show.
“Happy Sunday, everyone I am so sorry to write this, but Laura Jensen, who is on this group text and I have brought into our group, has unfortunately attempted to insert herself in my employment and contacted and met with my cast mates Jennifer Aydin to [undermine] me,” Josephs stated. “If you choose to associate with her, please do not include me. I know this is very Housewives of me, but we should all know when there is a snake in the group, I hope none of you revealed anything to this BEAST."
In a message to Deux Moi after their report, Josephs said that she is upfront and has nothing to do with the casting.
"Unfortunately, I pushed for her for two years; They didn’t want her, so she thought [to] try to be an enemy," she explained.
Josephs and her cast mates are expected to return to Bravo for the 13th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey later this year or early next year.
